If we are not careful we will magnify the works of the enemy, when pondering our struggles, hurts, and disappointments. We must be careful not to rehearse the situation by repeatedly discussing the event(s). Once you have shared your concern(s) with a believer to request prayer and guidance do not entertain thoughts that trigger spiritual and emotional turmoil. You are not defeated. God is watching over you.
Strengthen your spirit and allow healing to your emotions as you memorize, recite, meditate and murmur the truth about the situation in terms of what the scriptures says. Practice those exercises throughout the day and trust God to resolve the matter. Pursue the wisdom of God first regarding every situation. “Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. “ I Chronicles 16:11 (KJV)
Adjust your perspectives by basking in God’s presence, take a walk, smile, and see victory through the eyes of faith. Remember, we will always have troubles even wars, but the truth remains . . . we WIN because the battle is the Lords. II Chronicles 16:9 “ For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him.”(HSCB)
